Stomach Pain Wont Go Away

I have a mild form of UC. 2 months ago i forgot to take my mesalazin for a couple days. After that ive been having stomach ache and gas. After a month i got tired of it and started a 3 week cortisone treatment. It felt better for the first week but then it got worse again.
